EUGENE, Ore. — Lane Community College is thrilled to announce the appointment of Keri Green as the new Head Women's Volleyball Coach, succeeding Jim Moore who retired at the conclusion of the 2023 season. Athletic Director Greg Sheley made the announcement Friday, expressing his enthusiasm for Green's future with the Titans.
"We are excited to have Keri join the Titan Athletics family," Sheley remarked. "She brings energy, excitement, and a proven track record of success from her NWAC volleyball playing days to our Women's Volleyball program. We are confident Keri will do an outstanding job leading our athletes."
Keri Green steps into her new role with a wealth of experience, both as a player and a coach. Since the Fall of 2018, she has served as the Head Volleyball Coach at Springfield High School, where she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and coaching skills. Green's collegiate volleyball career was distinguished by her participation in teams that won consecutive NWAC titles at Blue Mountain Community College, followed by a record-setting performance at Bushnell University where she set the single-season blocks record.
Upon accepting the position, Green expressed her gratitude and excitement. "I want to thank Athletic Director Greg Sheley and the search committee for the opportunity to become the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Lane Community College. My leadership will reflect my passion and desire to help young women improve on the court and in the classroom," said Green.
Keri Green is not only recognized for her athletic and coaching accomplishments but also for her academic achievements. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Bushell University in 2018, followed by a Masters in Business Administration in 2022, and a Masters in Education from Southern Hampton University in 2023.
Lane Community College looks forward to the energy, expertise, and leadership Keri Green will bring to the Women's Volleyball program. Her commitment to excellence in both athletic and academic arenas aligns perfectly with the values and goals of Titan Athletics.
