This procedure describes the expectations of employees for timely completion of time sheets, the current semi-monthly pay dates, and the status of requests for advance pay.
All College employees shall enter work hours and exception time (accrued leave) on their time sheet in ExpressLane by the published deadlines.
The college issues payroll checks on a semi-monthly basis. The designated payroll dates are the 10th and the 25th of each month. Payroll checks on dates other than the 10th and the 25th of each month are specifically not allowed except when the College or HR has made an error in payroll calculations or distribution, or when compensation is mandated because of state or federal labor statutes or regulations. So long as the College maintains a semi-monthly payroll system, advances or "draws" shall no longer be allowed effective November 1, 2006.
