Responsible Executive Authority
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all computer resources procured for the College are:
- Cost effective
- Supported by Lane IT personnel
This applies to all employees of Lane Community College
Purchases of computers and networked devices should be coordinated and approved by Information Technology to ensure proper installation, sustainable maintenance, and general support services. Hardware purchases not in compliance with this policy will not be approved for payment by Lane's Accounts Payable department.
The computer hardware referenced in this article refers to computers, tablets, printers, document cameras, projectors and related technology equipment purchased by any employee on LCC campuses or sites with College funds.
