Lab computers are updated approximately every 5 years or as performance falls below acceptable levels.
Administrative computers are upgraded through FastLane Full-Service or Self-Service options.
A sustainably fast replacement computer is provided upon request in the order received as constrained by budgets, computer availability, and current IT work force load. Laptops can be requested through Deans or Department Managers and Department Heads when available.
Deans submit laptop requests to the Dean of Academic Technology. Requests for FastLane service are made through the Help Desk.
Lab hardware upgrade requests are made through the Unit Planning or Contingency Request Process using the Contingency Request Form
