The amount of Federal Pell Grant funds a student may receive over his or her lifetime is now limited by a new law to be the equivalent of six years of Pell Grant funding. If you have been a Pell Grant recipient in prior years, this change may affect you. For more information, visit the Department of Education website at www.studentaid.ed.gov.

New Regulations effective July 1, 2012 for financial aid recipients: NEW students MUST have a high school diploma, GED or meet the requirements for the completion of home schooling. The Ability to Benefit test will no longer be administered after June 8, 2012. See the Testing Office webpages for further information.

It's time to file your 2012-2013 FASFA (summer 2012 through spring 2013). You can begin filing January 1, 2012. File by January 31 to be considered for campus-based funds.

Lane has had a huge increase in financial aid applications for the 2011/2012 academic/aid year which take significant time to review.

Please plan ahead and allow plenty of time prior to your enrollment for the processing of your application.
