The first, best option for most of us might well include the Downtown Station at LTD. Walk off the bus and you'll literally walk across the street to Downtown Campus—no other transportation option (other than maybe your bicycle) is closer! Even if you prefer to drive to work because of your schedule, consider LTD's many "Park and Ride" locations that make it incredibly easy to get to work and still enjoy the mobility that your nearby personal car provides.

Bike Lane is our own home-grown program designed to make it easy for you to join the alternative transportation revolution! In addition to offering general support for Lane's bicycling population, Lane has bikes available at Downtown Campus for any resident subject to the Transportation Fee, too.

At Titan Court we have 54 indoor bike parking spots for residents, located the NW corner of Titan Court. There are 10 bikes for day check out for residents to use as they need for commuting, errands, fun, and fitness. In the academic building there are 47 indoor bike parking spots for occupants of the building, located on the north side of the building at the alley. We will have 3 bikes here for day use only for any occupants of the building. Additionally, there will be 74 exterior spots outside the building. And Hutch's bike shop is conveniently located on Charnelton Street, right across from Titan Court.

zimride logoZimride
Zimride is Lane's award-winning rideshare program. It makes it easy to find or share a ride. Need a ride? You'll find one here. Or if you have a car, you can post a ride and name your price. The great thing about Zimride is that it only includes people who are within the Lane Community College community, and it connects to Facebook so you have a chance to check out your prospective driver or passenger before anybody gets in the car. It is definitely the preferred way for students who can't bike or use the bus. Learn more and sign up here.

Drive less. Connect logoDriveLessConnect
DriveLessConnect offers a one-stop location to register and track your savings, in terms of both dollars and your carbon footprint, every time you bus, bike, walk, carpool or telecommute! In addition, DriveLessConnect administers the Emergency Ride Home program for Lane employees. This makes DriveLessConnect especially attractive for Lane faculty and staff.

While students may also register with DriveLessConnect, if you are looking to share a ride, we recommend Zimride for the safety and security of a Lane-only rideshare network that taps the power of Facebook. For faculty and staff, while you're welcome to use Zimride, your first, best choice might be to register with DriveLessConnect.

WeCar logoWeCar
