Enjoy a fine dining experience for lunch in the student-run restaurant, The Renaissance Room! Located inside the Center Building next to Blender's Espresso. The Renaissance Room is open during fall, winter, and spring terms. ***Please note: The Renaissance Room in the Center Building has closed for rennovations. The interim location is in the Center for Meeting and Learning, Building 19, Weyerhaeuser room 106.

The restaurant is open to the entire campus population as well as the general public.

Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Program Curriculum in the Renaissance Room

The Renaissance Room offers valuable restaurant experience for second-year culinary arts & hospitality management students in a real-time laboratory setting. The three terms are divided into focused areas of Advanced Cooking Theories including Garde Manger (the art of the cold kitchen), International Cuisine & Regional American Cuisines.

The Renaissance Room menu changes weekly to feature the regions & focus of study. We offer local, seasonal, and sustainable cuisine whenever possible.  Lunch includes a choice of soup or salad, entree, and a dessert sampler. 

Spring 2015: American Regional Cuisine

The Renaissance Room is located in Building 19, the Center for Meeting and Learning. Second year culinary students will be offering Wednesday and Thursday lunch-time dining in the Weyerhaeuser Room, room 106.

This term we are featuring menus built from our American Regional Cuisines curriculum. Our featured regions and dates are as follows.

Fall 2015

Our new dining room with double the capacity and windows galore, is slated to open October 2015. Check back here for our grand re-opening plans.  

Reservations & Dining

Reservations for Spring term begin March 30, 2015. Please call the Renaissance Room reservation number at (541) 463-3533 or by e-mailing .

Walk-ins are always welcome based upon seating availability.

Seating in the Renaissance Room is available between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm, doors close at 1:30pm.

The Renaissance Room accepts Visa & MastercCard exclusively.
We are unable to process campus food cards at this time.

Renaissance Room Gift Certificates are available for purchase and are good for the entire academic year! Please contact Wendy Milbrat.

Gratuities are encouraged, with all proceeds going to the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Student Club. We thank you for your support!

Directions and Parking for Spring Term 2015

Building 19, The Center for Meeting and Learning is located on the Northeast side of the college. Blue and yellow signs clearly direct drivers from either entrance of the college. We recommend parking in Lot C for easy access to our temporary location.
