Course Reserves
Course reserves are books, videos, articles, etc. that have been reserved by an instructor for their students' use and can be checked out at the circulation desk.

Telecourse Material

The Lane Library houses some material for telecourses. Search the catalog for course reserves using the name of the class or the instructor’s name. Call the Circulation Desk at 541-463-5273 if you have any questions.

Research Databases, Online Encyclopedias and Dictionaries

If you're a Lane student, you have access to thousands of magazines and newspapers from any computer.

Magazines and Periodicals

Lane Library subscribes to approximately 195 magazines and journals in print. The current issue of each title is available in the reading lounge on the first floor of the Library, across from the Laptop service desk. Older issues are kept at the Circulation desk, and kept for 5 years.

Online magazine and journals subscriptions are accessed through licensed research databases. The Lane Library licenses about 40 academic databases each containing hundreds or thousands of titles. To check which database covers a specific title, use the Magazine and Journal locator to determine how to access the title you are looking for in print and/or electronic form.
