The Lane Peace Center is proud to bring Arun Gandhi to the Lane Community College Main Campus Center for Meeting and Learning on February 16 from 7-8:30 p.m. His talk is titled, “Gandhi and Nonviolence: Relevance for the 21st Century.”

Event: Behavioral Event Interviewing (BEI), March 7th or 10th, 2017

Behavioral Event Interviewing (BEI) is an interviewing method focused on a candidate's competencies in relationship to the areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. BEI goes beyond canned responses and technical expertise to allow further insight into a candidate’s potential performance during an interview.

Event: Welcome to Lane, May 11 - 12, 2017

Mary Spilde and the executive team are excited to invite new employees or employees who have changed roles or departments in the last year for a two day on-boarding. Day one is dedicated to Lane's values and practices designed to ensure student success as well as individual roles in meeting Lane’s mission. The second day's activities are centered around strengthening emotional intelligence. Both days will provide the opportunity to meet and get to know staff and faculty from departments throughout the college.
