LCC Athletics names Conner Cappelletti as interim head men’s soccer coach

EUGENE, Ore. - Lane Community College Athletics has named Conner Cappelletti as interim head men's soccer coach.

Originally from Kent, Washington, Cappelletti has been assistant coach at Lane since 2016, when the men’s soccer program began.

He is assistant coach for the Eugene Timbers Futbol Club. He played with the Guam Men’s National Team in the East Asia Football Federation championship in 2017 where he had three caps for the Guam National Team in the East Asia Football Federation Competition, Round 2, in Hong Kong. He is in his fourth year as assistant coach at Lane United Football Club, an amateur team in Eugene-Springfield that formed in 2014 as part of the Northwest Division of the Premier Development League (PDL) which has about 64 teams in the U.S. and Canada.

Cappelletti played in the Oregon Youth Soccer Association including NCAA Division I soccer at Valparaiso University in Indiana, and in the PDL and NPSL (National Premier Soccer League) in Indiana, Kansas City, and Alabama.

Cappelletti has earned a U.S. Soccer Federation B coaching license, and a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Valparaiso University.
