The exhibit opened May 1 and will run through fall 2017. Gallery hours are Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and during special events at the Center.

David Joyce Gallery carries on the tradition of the late David Joyce (1946-2003), artist and teacher, to support art in its many forms and sources and to teach, inspire and provide an inviting environment. The gallery creates a fresh thematic series of two exhibits each year specializing in work that celebrates the glory and wonder of food, growing plants, culinary arts, hospitality, food markets, travel, and the people who learn, work and live in these worlds.

The gallery includes a tribute wall of eclectic, photographic cutout fragments by Joyce, an art instructor at Lane for 25 years, best known for his flying people mural, “Flight Patterns.”
