We're looking for the next Lane Titan mascot!
In 2009, Ty the Titan walked down from the nearby Cascade mountain range and assumed the position of Lane's official Mascot. A direct descendant of the Sky and Earth during the Golden Age, Ty is a powerful champion for students. Ty is a unifying force, a community builder and a friend to all. When you enter the Ty Voltage zone - you will Feel the Power!
Job Scope / Duties
- Perform at a variety of LCC and communty events.
- Assist with mascot scheduling.
- Establish and build a social media presence.
- Represent Lane in a professional manner at all times, in and out of costume.
- Responsible for maintaining of costume and related props.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and personal transportation.
- Physical ability to wear mascot suit for extended period of time while performing.
- Excellent non-verbal communicator, interacting with both children and adults.
- Willingness to travel and willingness to learn.
- Current LCC student.
Compensation
- TBD (Hourly wage, appearance fee, or tuition waiver are currently being discussed)
