A number of recent graduates from the Lane Community College Drafting Program have found success in pursuing their studies at the University of Oregon's School of Architecture and beyond.
Don Rickman was accepted to the Landscape Architecture program in 2010, and is now the co-chair of the Eugene chapter of American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). Lane Drafting graduate Cameron Ewing was accepted at Oregon in 2013 and is on the verge of graduation from the School of Architecture.
More recently, Lane drafting graduate Trevor Neal recently confirmed that he was accepted into the UO Architecture program. He told Lane drafting faculty member Margaret Robertson that "I am thankful for your recommendation and everything you taught me. The sustainable building systems course definitely sparked my interest in sustainability and helped me decide the direction I want to take with my future in architecture."
