Lane Community College Library's computers are designated as a resource for College and study-related research, and these activities have first priority.
To protect your privacy and documents, please log off the computer when you are finished, and exercise caution when transmitting personal or sensitive information over the Internet.
Although not an inclusive list, the following are not allowed at any of the Library computers:
- Display or download of obscene, pornographic, or harassing images.
- Disruption or interference with the College's network, services or equipment.
- Creation, transmission, or receipt of material in violation of federal or state laws or regulations, such as those governing copyright, illegal drugs, or child pornography.
- Any other violations of the College's Information Technology Appropriate Use Policy or the Student Code of Conduct.
Use of the library’s computers implies agreement to abide by these rules as well as other library policies. Failure to do so may involve penalties including loss of library privileges, as well as civil or criminal liability.
