The Grants Office
Grant Project Services
Grants can be a great way to start or redesign, update or innovate a program. Please familiarize yourself with the website which can answer many of your questions about how to apply for grants at Lane.
The Grants Office assists faculty and staff seeking grant funding for programs that further the mission, strategic directions, institutional, divisional, departmental and programmatic goals of the college.
The Grants Office is available to answer questions and provide help throughout the application process. Please contact Richard Plott, Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness.
All grants submitted, electronically or in hard copy, by Lane Community College staff or faculty, to outside funding sources (public and private sponsors) must be reviewed, cleared and endorsed by the Grants Office on behalf of Lane Community College prior to submission.
Complete proposals, including the budget, must be submitted to Lane’s Grants Office three full working days before the deadline to allow for complete review and approval. Early contact with the Grants Office staff is strongly encouraged to help ensure efficient and timely clearance and submission of all types of applications.
Questions about grant applications to private foundations should be directed to the LCC Foundation.
Note to Students
The Grants Office does not help individual students with financial aid or scholarships. Please see Financial Aid for questions about Federal Financial Aid. Visit the Scholarship Advising Team for scholarship opportunities.
