Utilization of the Center for Accessible Resources

The Center for Accessible Resources (CAR) is committed to providing opportunities to all students with disabilities in order for them to have meaningful access to college programs and services in a barrier-free environment. Lane's Center for Accessibility Resources offers academic accommodations for the removal of barriers to learning environment, and provides: test and in-class accommodations, resource/referral information, alternate formatting of required materials and adaptive equipment/furniture. These services are available to students with disabilities who are attending credit courses, Adult High School, Adult Basic Education, and Continuing Education classes on any of the Lane campuses. Students must request services by following the procedures described on the Center for Accessible Resource's Application Process page and the Center for Accessibility Resources Student Agreements page.

Student Communications

CAR’s primary source of communication with students is via email. Per Lane Community College (LCC) policy, as well as to maintain confidentiality, CAR will only use student LCC-issued email addresses. Emails from CAR are considered official college communications.

Please see the college student communications policy for more information: https://www.lanecc.edu/copps/documents/student-communications

If you need assistance setting up your LCC email, please visit the Student Help Desk (SHeD): https://www.lanecc.edu/shed
