Dear Lane Community College Community,

The COVID-19 outbreak is an unprecedented challenge for all of us. It has changed the way we all live, work and learn. These challenging times require that we adapt to a seemingly ever-changing situation. To meet the educational needs of students, Lane Community College is in session online this spring term. Administration, faculty and staff are working together to ensure students continue their education while staying safe, healthy and at home.

To ease learning barriers for students, Lane is delivering spring term classes using the remote technologies we have available. Many Lane students have been already using these technologies during previous academic quarters. In addition, Lane’s determined faculty and staff are developing new options to deliver hands-on training to students in an online world.

While staying home, observing social distancing parameters, and other measures are keeping all of us safe and healthy, we are committed to the mission of excellence in education and training that students and the community depend on for Lane to deliver.

Stay home, stay safe.

Sincerely,

Margaret Hamilton
LCC President
