How do I register my child in Spark Academy?

Read these instructions carefully. Call us if you have any difficulty. There are three parts to getting your child enrolled:

Part 1: Create your child's online profile

Works best with a PC or Mac--our system doesn't always like cell phones or tablets!

Step 1: Go to and click “Create a Profile.”
(Note: If you are not comfortable doing this on your own, please come to the Continuing Ed office in the Downtown Campus (DCA) and we will assist you.)


  • Enter your child’s name and birthdate in the profile! DO NOT use your own name and birthdate!! If you have more than one child attending, you must create a profile for each child.
  • The field labeled “Email preferences,” enter YES. We will email you the required Info and Release form and camp details.

Step 2: Be sure to make note of the email, password and security question answer you entered for the next time you log in.

Scholarship Seekers: Stop after Step 2.

You must apply for the scholarship and mail it to our office by mail or in person by April 10th at The Downtown Campus: 101 W 10th Ave, Eugene, 97401. Part 2: Registration and Payment

The name on the payment screen must match the name on your card exactly

Step 3: Once your child’s profile is complete, browse courses and find and select the camp(s) you want. They are listed under Spark Academy. Add your camp(s) to the cart. Note: Camps will not be visible until April 17.

Step 4: When you’ve added all the camps you want to your cart, click “view cart” and proceed through checkout. If you have more than one child attending, do Steps 3 and 4 for each child within that child’s individual profile.

Part 3: Complete Required Forms

All required forms must be received no later than June 30.

Step 5: After successful registration, we will email you links to required forms. We have alternative formats available if electronic forms do not work for you.


  • The paperwork we will send is required by Lane Community College. Life is busy, so we encourage you to return the paperwork as soon as you receive it. Your child will not be able to attend camp without the required forms on file. We will send reminder emails and call.

Step 6: Complete the required paperwork with all necessary information. Paperwork may take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Forms are due June 30.
