APS - Alert 2
Academic Progress Standards (APS) support is currently being offered remotely by email or virtual appointment (See below for details).
Alert 2 - is the second intervention for the Academic Progress Standards system.
Should a student be placed on Alert 2 status, they must successfully access and complete the Success Plan to Achieve Academic Standards Questionnaire found on Moodle. Upon completion the Alert 2 hold will be removed and registration for future terms will resume should no other holds exist.
To check the hold has been removed, Log into myLane and:
- Choose Enrollment and Student Financial Services/Student Records/View Holds - to confirm the registration hold has been removed
- Choose Enrollment and Student Financial Services/Registration and Books/When Can I Register - to identify registration dates for the following term.
During the required online process students will address the persistent barriers/obstacles that interfere with student success. In addition, a “Success Plan Questionnaire” will be developed. Students are directed to seek out specific resources addressing identified needs and offer support. Students may be referred to their Program Advising Team, Lane Retention Counselor, tutoring or other relevant services.
To successfully remove an Alert 2 hold students will need to access the link identified below.
*If you do not see the APS: Alert 2 Moodle course please email AcademicProgressStandards@lanecc.edu with your full name and L# requesting enrollment.
