Adult and Basic Education - Adult Basic and Secondary Education (ABSE) classes are designed for adult learners who need to learn or re-learn basic reading, writing, math, or employment skills. ABSE students come from many walks of life, and are attending our classes for many different reasons.
Business Development & Customizedf Employee Training - The Small Business Development Center is your support team for your business, offering a wide range of services and training for owners and employees. We are located in the Wildish Building at 1445 Willamette Street in Eugene, Oregon, just south of the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce building.
Continuing Education - Continuing Education offers hundreds of non-credit courses to enrich the lives of the residents in and around Lane County. Topics include career exploration and training as well as art, music, financial and retirement planning, health and wellness, recreation, sign language, real estate, massage, health occupations, photography, foreign languages, cooking, computers, dance, sewing and so much more.
English as a Second Language - The English as a Second Language (ESL) Program at Lane Community College provides intensive English language training to a wide cross-section of residents in Lane County. This program enrolls students from more than 40 different nations and features staff who are highly-qualified and culturally-sensitive to the needs of second language learners.
International Students - International Programs provides services to students from over 110 countries. Besides academics, the program sponsors activities for students to visit local, regional and statewide places of interest. International students can receive help through English Conversation Partners, registering for classes, housing issues, immigration assistance and much more. IP staff will do their best to answer any question or refer you to the best resources.
High School Students - High School Connections helps currently enrolled high school students make the transition from high school to college. You can earn both high school and college credits (dual credit) for some courses to get an early start on college at substantial savings.
Workforce Development - WorkSource Lane is dedicated to helping individuals learn new skills, find employment and progress in their careers. Friendly and experienced staff are ready to help you get back to work!
