Can you believe it is the fifth week of the term, and almost May?! Mid-terms are here, so be sure we are seeing you in the TLC.  

1. Pick up MID-TERM PROGRESS REPORT FORMS from the front desk in the TRiO Office or the sign-in desk in the TLC. Give them to your instructors this week, and ask to get them back by next week. This information will let you know how you are doing in each class, and let you know if you need to adjust in any class to be successful. We strongly encourage you to take this empowering step to know how you are doing in your classes. If you need to consult with us, please do so!  

2. Advance Advising for Summer and Fall 2008 began last week. Advance Registration for summer begins May 6th at 7:00 a.m. and Advance Registration for Fall begins May 20th at 7:00 a.m. Be sure to see your Advisor or Counselor to plan your schedule for next year.  

3. Calling ALL TRiO Students!!! TRiO Achievement Celebration is Friday, June 13, 11:30 - 1:30 in Bristow Square...Mark your calendars!  

4. 5. COLLEGE IS CLOSED MAY 2 for college-wide in-service. There will be no classes or services that day.  

6. FRIDAY NIGHT, MAY 2, come to the Lane Spring Inspirations--Students' On Act Plays--at the Blue Door Theater. Contact Marla for information at 463-3131 or nortonm@lanecc.edu.  

7. Please complete a TRiO Program Evaluation Form and the form that tells us your plans for next year. Both forms are available in the TLC or TRiO Office, and the Evaluation form is attached here. You can either print it out, complete it and turn it in, or complete it electronically and submit it by e-mail to nortonm@lanecc.edu. It is really important to us to get your feedback, so please take the 5-10 minutes it takes to complete the form. If you drop it off in the TRiO office you get a treat!   Take good care and see you soon and often.
