GED Testing - Schedule - Fall 2009
Schedule | Information
You must
attend a registration and orientation session before you can take the GED
tests.
See the dates and times below. You do not need to make an appointment for Registration and Orientation.
You will NOT be admitted to the Registration and Orientation session if you arrive late. Be here at 1:30 for check in and to complete paperwork. The Registration and Orientation should be finished by 3:00 PM. See the dates and times below.
Pay the $85.00 test fee at Enrollment Services at least a day before you attend a Registration and Orientation session. Do NOT wait until the day of Registration and Orientation to pay your fee. Bring your receipt with you to Registration and Orientation.
You MUST have a government issued photo I.D. with you at Registration and Orientation. A high school photo ID is not acceptable. Proof of current address is required. It may either be on your ID or bring in another document or piece of mail with your current address on it.
If you are under 18, you must have either an “Exemption from Compulsory Attendance” letter from your school district or be in an approved GED Options Program and have the current paperwork with you at Registration and Orientation. The paperwork from your school district must be original. Faxes and copies are not acceptable.
To
save time during orientation we prefer you do your demographic information
online; however you will need an email address. Please go to GED123.org to get started. Follow the
instructions below:
- Click on begin to start because
you are a new student.
- Click on
Oregon
in the map.
- Click on continue.
- Complete the information
including email address and then click continue.
- Close this webpage and open
your email account. You will get an email from GED123.org.
- Click on the highlighted
information and you will complete your demographics from there.
- After you complete your
demographics please click on print you must bring this page with
you to the orientation.
- Don’t forget to also
bring your ID, receipt and your high school paperwork if under 18 years
of age.
Testing is by appointment only. After you have paid the fee of $85.00 and gone through the Orientation and Registration in Building 1, Room 116, you will be able to sign up online to make an appointment. Look at the GED schedule below to determine the day and time you want to test.
You can make your appointment online. If the online scheduling does not allow you to make an appointment, please call the testing office at (541) 463-5324.
All tests are given in the Center Building, Room 12 (in the basement).
If you need to cancel your appointment please do it at least one day in advance, this will allow others to register. You can go online to cancel your appoint. The address to cancel is https://esars.lanecc.edu/esars/GEDtesting/eSARS.asp If you are not able to get online to cancel please call (541) 463-5324.
You will need to arrive at the testing room (Center Building, Room 12) at least 15 minutes before your testing time. You will not be admitted to the test if you arrive late.
You
MUST have your I.D. with you at each test.
