We also understand that you might be facing very significant transitions and Lane Community College wants to facilitate your move from a very close knit group in the armed forces to developing a strong support system here as well. This on-campus center is available to provide resources and referral services in regards to Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits, G.I. Bill benefits, employment, family assistance, transition issues, and education issues.

"The mission of the Student Veterans Resource Center (SVRC) is to serve as a conduit to facilitate the bridge and ease the transition between veterans, service members, and their families seeking resources from within the community and Lane Community College."

The Center provides referral services to various College staff and community agencies who can assist you with the following:

• Veteran Resident Status
• Academic Accommodations
• Withdrawals Due to Deployments
• Referrals to On-Campus Academic Assistance
• Access to Service Providers On-Site
• Events for Veterans and Military Families
• Scholarships
