    Spring 96:

    - Diane and Therese attend a workshop, ìHow to Design Eye-Catching Home Pages.î The instructor evaluates our pages and gives us a good review.

    - Additional part-time staff are hired and Therese's hours are increased to support Web page authors, develop the - Whatís New pages, put maps and directions on the Web, and help consolidate guidelines, tips, and procedures.

    - The committee considers the question of personal staff pages and decides not to support these at this time. For someone wishing to link from Lane's Web site to a personal home page, we request that people inform users that they would be leaving Laneís Web site.

    - The committee hosts a campus-wide meeting to receive input on the Web site and the work of the committee.

    - Additional pages are posted.

    - Continuing Education offers three online courses (not on Laneís server).
