    Winter '96: 

    - Presentations and Web updates are made to the Managersí Forum and Board of Education.

    - Therese begins submitting our URL to appropriate Internet directories.

    - Training in HTML authoring is offered for staff who are interested in Web page development. An overview of design guidelines/procedures is included.

    - Using part-time staff hired by IA, we begin converting (to HTML) and posting the 1995-96 college catalog (this process eventually required approximately 100 hours).

    - ìDepartment Listing in College Catalogî includes

    • Overview
    • Professional Technical Programs
    • Course Descriptions
    - Computer Services provides capability for cgi scripts, counters, clickable images.

    - Math Department pages with Mandelbrot Set animated gifs are posted.

    - The Torch student newspaper is posted on local Eugene Free Net.

    - ìGraphic Design Onlineî pages are created by Thomas Rubick with support from Instructional Technology Initiative.

    - Additional pages including College Business, - Getting Started At Lane, and Cultural and Community Services are posted.

    - Additional Counseling and Advising pages are posted by Rich Freund, Tim Blood, and Vicki Doughty with support from the VP for Student Services.
