    Summer '95: 
    - President Moskus asks Nick Cheshire, head of Computer Services, to oversee development of Lane's Web site. Nick invites Diane Dann of Institutional Advancement (IA) to co-chair a Steering Committee to begin policy formulation with feedback from interested parties.

    - Sample issues:

    • What address structure will be used to organize Web page files?
    • Should approval be required for links to off-campus sites?
    • What will be included on the collegeís home page?
    • Will a standard design be required of all pages?
    - Members of the campus community contact Nick and Diane to express interest in Lane's Web site.

    - The Lane ìlogoî is created and the home page is redesigned.
