Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) steps for spring term:

Step 1: Create an Email Account if you don't already have one

Step 2: Apply for Admission/Readmission

Step 3: Apply for Financial Aid
Due to the unprecedented increase in the number of financial aid applications being processed, it is taking 2-8 weeks to process aid awards once all documents have been received. We urge you to submit your financial aid application immediately.

Step 4: Schedule your Placement Testing appointment (after receiving your L#)

Steps 5 & 6: Schedule your Spring SOAR appointment
SOAR includes (Step 5) your Program Advising Student Session (PASS) and (Step 6) a New Student Information Session (NSIS).

An optional Money Matters workshop will be offered on the same day.

Step 7: Register for Classes
Instructions will be provided at your PASS Session
