Calling those with a caring heart and a dedication to helping others. In response to requests from area employers, the Successful Aging Institute at Lane now offers 40-hour comprehensive training to prepare you for an entry-level position as a professional Personal Care Aide (PCA) in residential community and in-home care settings.

The PCA skills-based training touches on many areas including compassionate communication, proper body mechanics, assistance with acts of daily living, fire safety, hospice, and self-care for the caregiver.
