Beach Cleanup
On Saturday, March 25, 2006, our Chapter participated in SOLV's Great Oregon Spring Beach Cleanup. A total of 5,245 volunteers participated to clean Oregon's coastline, which is 362 miles long. Officials estimated that 46.5 tons of trash were removed in just this one day! This is a fun activity, and everyone should volunteer to do this at least once in his or her lifetime.
