Visiting Concordia University Below is a message from Rebecca Andersen, an alumna, graduate student, and Visit Coordinator for Concordia University, Portland: “As Visit Coordinator I have the opportunity to work with prospective students and arrange visits for them. It is the university’s hope that through this visit the student will be able to get a taste of Concordia’s wonderfully unique community. A campus tour, meeting with an Admissions Counselor, sitting in on a class, eating lunch with a student, meeting with a professor from a specific program—these are all designed to the student’s specific interests and will allow for a better understanding of how Concordia might fit that student’s individual personality, goals, and expectations. “Concordia University has left an immeasurable impact on my life that I would now like to share with others. I want to provide the opportunity for other students to grow at Concordia; therefore, the Admissions Team and I are in search of those students who might fit at Concordia. “The Concordia mission is: “To prepare leaders for the transformation of society.” Therefore, I am formally inviting your group to visit Concordia’s campus. “I will be the person to contact to arrange any visit in the future. These visits can be group visits or individual visits. We offer campus tours Monday through Friday at 9:30am, 11:00am, and 2:00pm. Again, in any way that I can assist you in your search for that right university, please let me know. Feel free to contact me at any time!” A calendar is listed on the web site (www.lanecc.edu/ptk) Please check there for updated information!
