Mission: The Professional Technical Education Coordinating Committee provides guidance and support to advisory committees, in partnership with the business community, to promote a quality workforce.

Membership:  Members are selected by the current committee members from local community businesses. College employees are ex officio.

When Members Are Selected:  Annually 

Length of Membership:  Three years 

Roles/Duties of Committee Members: Participate in advisory committee orientation, review and recommend advisory committee activities, oversee and monitor all LCC professional technical programs, and make recommendations to the LCC Board of Education via the Vice President for Instruction and Student Services. Other college advisory committees are also under the oversight of PTECC.
