Mission: Choose a specified number of faculty members to be approved for one or more terms of leave based on submission of professional leave application as provided by Article23.8 of the faculty contract.

Membership: One management representative appointed by the Vice President for Instruction and faculty representatives appointed by the Lane Community College Education Association.

When Members Are Selected: Annually.

Roles/Duties of Committee Members: Read and approve faculty applications for long-term leave, write policy governing long-term leaves, design application forms, mentor applicants, and market long-term leave opportunities.
