Proceeds from all performances go to Lane Performing Arts scholarships or to help maintain the general program.

Lane Music

-Friday 1/22 & Saturday 1/23 @7:30pm Main Performance Hall Bldg. 6: The 2010 Oregon Jazz Festival; Let the greatest Jazz artists of the Pacific Northwest  cool you down with hot jazz! Tickets are $10 General admission and $7 for Students and Seniors.

-Fridays 1/15-3/5 @ 3:43pm Building 6(Yes, 3:43, which we also took as the name of our weekly afternoon student jam session). The phenomenally successful 3:43 student concert series continues. Admission is FREE

Thursday, 2/11 @7:30pm Main Performance Hall Bldg. 6: The Spring Faculty Concert

Details TBA; but this is show is a Lane favorite! Check the  Online Box Office for Ticket information!

Sunday, 2/28 @2:00pm and Wednesday, 3/3, Main Performance Hall Bldg. 6: the Lane Chamber Orchestra and Lane Symphonic Band. A favorite double-bill concert with music for all tastes. Check the  Online Box Office for Ticket information!

Tuesday 3/9 @ 3:00pm Performance Hall, Main Stage Bldg 6: Dance Open Show! FREE dance performance! Ballet to  Hip-Hop; join the fun!

Thursday, 3/11  @7:30pm Main Performance Hall Bldg. 6: Lane Choirs Concert: A very poplular triple bill with the Lane Chamber Chorus, the Lane Concert Choir and the Spectrum Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Again, be sure to get your tickets early! Check the  Online Box Office for Ticket information!

-Friday 3/12 @ noon, Main Performance Hall Bldg 6: Music Department Student Showcase; featuring performances by Lane music students. This program presents a wide variety of music and is a great way to spend your lunch break. Free admission.

-Friday, 3/12 @ 7:30pm, Main Performance Hall, Bldg. 6: The Lane Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Lane's own Ron Bertucci, and the Lane Jazz Combo will perform contemporary and classic Jazz tunes. Believe me, a Friday night jazz concert is one of the best ways to shed the worries of the week and get into the weekend mood. I know a lot of you are getting ready for finals so you probably need some decompression! Check the  Online Box Office for Ticket information!

Lane Dance

Thursday-Saturday, 2/25 -26- 27 @8:000pm, Main Performance Hall Bldg. 6:Lane Dance presents Collaborations.  This Eugene dance favorite presents dancers from around the region performing original choreography. This performance plays to a full house, so get your tickets early! Check the  Online Box Office for Ticket information!

 

Tuesday, 3/9  @Noon Main Performance Hall Bldg. 6: Dance Open Show This free (but donations are  accepted!) concert shows off the finest of Lane's Dance Program. This event always fills the auditorium.

Lane Theatre

 

Weekends 2/4 - 2-6; 2/12 - 2/13; 2/18-20, 8:00pm; Saturday Matinee 2/14, 2:00pm

Blue Door Theatre, Building 6. The Student Production Association presents Ray Cooney and John Chapman's Move Over Mrs. Markham! Laughs abound in this frisky, risque British comedy set in upper-class London. Treat yourself to a wok not often seen in Eugene! Check the  Online Box Office for Ticket information!

 

-Saturday, 3/13 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm in the Blue Door Theater, 1st floor Performing Arts Hall, Bldg. 6: The Spring 2010 Shakespeare Showcase, organized and directed by Sparky Roberts. This event features favorite scenes and monologues from Shakespeare's works, selected and performed by Lane theater students and the community at large. This event is free (Donations are appreciated), and for most performances the house fills up early so get there early. For this show there are no reservations taken.
