College Night at LCC Nov. 14

Some scholarship winners and staff from College Night 2012 at LaneEUGENE, Ore.—Lane Community College will participate in the Educational Credit Management Corporation's annual College Night on Thursday, November 14. The event will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Center for Meeting and Learning, Building 19, Room 102.

Pizza and prizes—

Those who arrive before the presentations begin can enjoy free pizza and lemonade, and register to win a $500 scholarship. Last year, four Lane students won scholarships.

Higher education professionals will discuss:

• How going to college can change your life
• Choosing the right college whether four-year, community college, or other
• Application process
• Financial aid and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• Scholarship searches and scams
