LCC board meeting and public hearing July 15

EUGENE, Ore.—The Lane Community College Board of Education will meet Wednesday, July 15, at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting will be held remotely and available through Lane Community College’s event streaming page.

At approximately 6:05 p.m. the meeting will adjourn into a public hearing to receive comment on a track resurfacing contract, and on a roofing contract for building 6.

After the hearing, the regular meeting will resume. Key agenda times include a budget update, sustainability analysis of the Center for Meeting and Learning, fall reopening plan, accreditation, and expansion of district boundary.

Public comment may be made at the hearing regarding the proposed contracts, and at the regular meeting on any topic, via Zoom webinar. After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar.

If necessary, the Board will meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations, and ORS 192.660(2)(h) Legal Counsel, and ORS 192.660(2)(e) Real Property Transactions, and ORS 192.660(2)(f), Exempt Information.
