LCC holds 54th commencement June 15

EUGENE, Ore.–Lane Community College will hold its 54th commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 15 beginning at 10 a.m. at Bristow Square in the heart of main campus, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene.

Speakers include LCC President Margaret Hamilton, LCC Board of Education Chair Mike Eyster, State Representative Teresa Alonso León, and student body president Nick Keough.

This year, Lane expects to award about 1,760 associate degrees and certificates to approximately 1,065 members of the graduating class of 2019. Roughly 51 percent are career technical students and 49 percent are transfer students. Some will have completed both types of credentials.
