EUGENE, Ore.— The Lane Community College Board of Education and Budget Committee will meet Thursday, May 16, in the Boardroom, Building 3, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene.
The Budget Committee meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. The committee will review the proposed 2019-20 budget, accept public comment, and submit information requests as needed. The next meeting will be Thursday, May 23 at 5:30 p.m. The annual budget hearing and adoption will be held at the June 13 Board of Education meeting. View more Budget Committee information online.
At 6:00 p.m., same location, an Executive Session of the Lane Community College Board of Education will be called to order under ORS 192.660(2)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations, and ORS 192.660(2)(h), Legal Counsel, and ORS 192.660(2)(e), Real Property Transactions, and ORS 192.660(2)(f), Exempt Information. The Board of Education meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., same location. Key discussion and action items include: veterans affairs, former downtown center, student activity fee, audit action plan, budget, president’s evaluation process, retreat planning, committee planning, and vacancy policy.
