LCC students win Best Bite Award for Presentation and Hospitality at Chef’s Night Out

EUGENE, Ore. — Lane Culinary Arts and Hotel/Restaurant /Tourism Management students won the Best Bite Award for Presentation and Hospitality at the annual Chefs' Night Out competition at the Hult Center on April 3.

Since 2009, Lane students have won this award five times, and have won honorable mention twice.

Under the mentorship of Chef Clive Wanstall, Chef Jeff Gardner, and Wendy Milbrat, “Lane students did a fantastic job and had a great time,” said Division Dean Pat O’Connor.

The event was founded by restaurateur Mike West 28 years ago to bring together local chefs to raise money for Food for Lane County.
