LCC student musicians perform a variety of symphonic and jazz music March 15-19

EUGENE, Ore. – The Lane Community College Music Program presents three upcoming concerts this weekend at main campus, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene. Admission is by donation ($3-$10 suggested) with all donations going to support student scholarships, for all concerts. 

The Symphonic Band performs Thursday, March 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Ragozzino Hall, Building 6. Come experience moving and uplifting music featuring the Willamette High School Concert band and the Lane Symphonic Band in an eclectic program of classic military marches, Irish tunes, and more. 
  
The Lane Jazz Ensemble performs Friday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Ragozzino Hall, Building 6. Enjoy a concert of swinging charts from the Lane Jazz Ensemble featuring great soloists and musicians playing tunes ranging from big band swing to blue, to Latin grooves and more.
 
The Jazz Combo performs Monday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Blue Door Theatre, Building 6. This fun and exciting concert will feature six jazz combos performing a range of styles from jazz standards to Latin jazz with vocal, instrumentals, and a range of colors and instrumentation that feature everything from trumpet to electric guitar.
