I grew up on a cattle ranch in rural southeastern Arizona and moved here to Eugene in 2005. As a Reference & Instruction Librarian at the Lane Community College Library, I fulfill a wide variety of functions. I answer reference questions, purchase books and other items for the Library collection, serve as the Library's Electronic Resources Liaison and Streaming Resources Liaison, and I seem to go to a lot of meetings! :) I also develop curriculum and supplemental materials for Library users, teach research skills for classes in other divisions and departments on campus, and offer reference consultation to anyone who asks. The LCC Library is open to the public, and we offer a borrower card to residents of the LCC District for $10 per year.

I love to help people, so feel free to approach me at any time and I'll do my best to see that you get answers to your questions.
Here is a list of the committees on which I currently serve:

  • Curriculum and Degree Requirements Committee
  • Lane Community College Education Association (Department Representative)
  • Sabbatical Review Committee

In my free time I am a very active member of Eugene's vibrant local theatre community. I have performed in most theatres in town, and my plays have been produced by a number of local theatres. If you're interested in learning more about my work as a playwright, please visit my page on the New Play Exchange.
