Access to Materials
- Delivery service for faculty and students - We can arrange delivery of Library and Summit materials to be delivered to the Cottage Grove or Florence Outreach Centers. This service is exclusively for faculty and students in the Cottage Grove and Florence Outreach Centers.
- Library catalog - Locate books, videos, journals, and other materials in the Library.
- Summit borrowing - Through Summit, credit students and staff have access to over 27 million books, sound recordings, videos, and more. Not only can your items be delivered to Lane's circulation desk, they can also be delivered to any of the other Alliance member libraries - you choose. Summit items will usually arrive within 2-5 days from the time you submit your request. Delivery can be arranged.
- Subscription databases - Full-text articles that cover a variety of subject areas accessible to all faculty and students on and off-campus.
- Magazine Journal Locator - See what magazines and journals the Library subscribes to and locate them online or in print. More than 14,000 titles are available.
- Electronic books - Over 1,300 online books plus 4,500 classic works are available to students and staff.
General Services
- Your library record - Check the status of items requested through the Summit Catalog, see what books and other materials you have checked out, renew items and more.
- Electronic reserves - Do you have an article, document, or image you want to share with your students? Library staff can assist you to create an electronic copy so students can access it from any computer with Internet access.
- Purchase request form - Request the Library to purchase a book, newspaper, journal, video, database, etc.
- Video services for faculty - Cottage Grove and Florence Outreach Center delivery service is available.

- Library instruction - Class instruction sessions with a librarian are available in the Library, and Cottage Grove and Florence Outreach Centers.
- Library tutorial - An online tutorial to familiarize students with basic library concepts.
