The Library has over 65,000 books, magazines, and videos. We also lend tape recorders, calculators, and headphones.

Borrowing from Other Libraries
Through Summit Borrowing, credit students and current or retired faculty and staff members have access to over 27 million books, sound recordings, films, video tapes, and more.
Students, staff, and community borrowers may also borrow materials from libraries worldwide through Lane's interlibrary loan service.
- Ask a librarian - Call, e-mail, chat, or stop by the library and a librarian will be happy to help you.

- Public stations
The Library Internet stations may be used by LCC students, staff and community users at no charge.- Software: Internet Browser(s) (IE, Firefox, and/or Public Web Browser), and Notepad.
- Stations 1 & 2 restricted to Library databases and catalog.
- Upper floor stations restricted to Library catalog.
- Classroom stations are available for public use when classes are not in session - view Library classroom calendar.
- Need to write a paper? Word processing is available on the circulating laptops and in the computer labs.
- Laptops - circulating (fall, winter, and spring term only)
Laptops are available to current students at the checkout counter.- Software: Microsoft Office, IE, Firefox, and Adobe Photoshop Elements.
- Check out hours: 9:30 am - 2:00 pm (latest return 2:30)
- Support is available at the checkout station between 9:30am - 3:00pm.
- 2 hour loan.
- Circulation Policy: Overdue and replacement charges.
- Use your own laptop
The Library is a hotspot for Lane's Student and Staff Access Network.- Wireless (wifi).
- Ports are available - under stairs, in study rooms, and upper floor in SW corner.
- Support is available at the checkout station between 9:30am - 3:00pm. During other hours, please contact the Student Help Desk.
- Printing
Free printing is available - 50 page limit. - Scanners
- Coming soon - Photo scanner for student use.
- Assistive Technology Scanners - Stations 6 & 24 are equipped with special software that reads scanned text and more.
