The ITC is now your one-stop location for
instructional and operational computing support -

  • The IT Help-Desk, Information TechnologyTraining, and the Faculty Webmasters are all stationed in the ITC.
  • We have added a small computer classroom dedicated to employee training.  IT Training and the Faculty Webmasters will be scheduling workshops in this lab throughout the year.  Check the schedule HERE.
  • Help Desk staff are on hand to help you get in, log on and open the applications you need to use.  Faculty Webmasters and IT Training are available by appointment to provide additional support.

ITC DROP-IN LAB

  • Multi-Media Lab - The ITC is a drop-in lab open to all Lane employees for developing presentation, web, and multi-media materials.
  • Available Resources - The ITC has a variety of office and multi-media hardware and software and is a great place to work on your projects, away from the distractions of your department. 
  • Hours - Feel free to stop by the ITC whenever the campus is open (M - Th: 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; F: 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) to work independently.  To see what is going on in the ITC, check the schedule.
  • Access - The ITC is secured with a keypad.  Please call the Help Desk @ x4444 to get the combination.
FACULTY WEBMASTERS
  • Faculty Webmasters are here to help interested LCC faculty make effective use of the web and related technologies as part of the teaching-learning process. Within this role, they work as information resources, facilitators, consultants, advocates, troubleshooters, liaisons, advisers, and leaders. For more information on incorporating technology into your courses go to: http://teach.lanecc.edu.
  • Faculty Webmaster services are not available during summer term.

IT TRAINING

  • Provides training and coaching on all supported Lane software, network sytems, and computers. 
  • Contact Michael Levick (levickm@lanecc.edu, x3349) to schedule trainings, get individual assistance, or obtain self-help materials.

IT HELP DESK

  • The Help Desk is responsible for installation, maintenance and problem solving for the nearly 1000 faculty and staff computers, and their peripherals, located on the main campus of LCC. 
  • The Help-Desk (helpdesk@lanecc.edu, x4444) is staffed from 8 a.m to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
