Creating web pages at Lane - www.lanecc.edu

Important things to remember:

• You will want to refer to the Web Information & Resources to view the guildelines about creating and maintaining web pages at Lane (www.lanecc.edu):
• Be sure to use standard templates.
• You must make sure ALL your web pages at www.lanecc.edu are ADA compliant as well as following other technical requirements.
• Keep your web directory cleaned up, keeping only current files on the server.
• Archive old files to your hard drive as you remove them from the server.
• Due to security issues, DO NOT have ANY .exe files (executable) on the server.
• Any online forms that request personal data must only be used through a secure server, not sent via an email form. Contact Todd Lutz with questions regarding online forms and personal data, x3355.
• Optimize your images to make them as small as possible to speed up performance of your web pages.
