IT UPDATE: INTERNET EXPLORER 7

Microsoft is readying a new version of Internet Explorer (IE7) and will begin to send automatic updates out in November. At this time, it is the IT department's recommendation that LCC users not install IE7 as it has not been certified for compatibility with critical applications such as Internet Native Banner.

According to Microsoft, the IE7 update process will ask the user if they would like to install IE7 and will not automatically install. If you receive a Windows Update notice asking about IE7, please do not install this update until further notice.
