IT GroupWise Client Upgrade Notification:

We recently completed an upgrade to version 8 of GroupWise. The next step involves upgrading the workstations (or clients) that you log into on a daily basis. First take note that this upgrade is only for Windows XP workstations. If in doubt please call the HelpDesk at ext 4444.

Client upgrades will be done in three parts. First: All users that belong to post office 3 will start getting the upgrade notice on Monday June 1st. Two to three days later (Jun 3rd) users on post office 2 will start receiving upgrade notices and again the following week Tuesday June 9th all post office 1 users will get their upgrade invitation.

Here is what you need to know and do:

You will get an upgrade notice: Choose either yes, Upgrade your GroupWise client now OR no to upgrade later.

If you choose yes, follow the on screen instructions.

If you choose no, you will have 5 grace logins before you have to choose yes or the upgrade will happen automatically.
