Technology Group Charters

Charters exist for the following technology groups:

Technology Council: one of the seven councils established in 2004 as part of the college governance system.

Banner and Related Systems coordinating group (BARScg): coordinates operation of the highly integrated administrative information systems and to makes recommendations to the AVP for IT on overall systems management issues.

Groups that are no longer active (as of October 2006):

Technology Advising and Consulting Team (TACT): long standing team that provides guidance, support and assistance to the Associate Vice President for Information Technology for operational objectives and student technology fee administration. (TACT was retired as an official college team by action of the College Council in Spring of 2005)

Computer Support Committee (CSC): makes recommendations to the Associate Vice President for Information Technology on operational issues related to maintaining staff desktop computing technologies. (CSC was retired as an official college team by action of the College Council in Spring of 2005)

Student Access Network (SAN) Team: a temporary team that makes recommendations related to the implementation and evolution of the Student Access Network. (sunset clause of team charter ended this team on June 30, 2005)
