Armando Chavarin received the IT employee recognition award for August 2006. 
Quoting from Armando's nomination:

So, here's why he's my nominee. He's bright, helpful and a self-motivator. He has a great attitude and a can-do mentality that's infectious. I believe he did more for bridging the political and technological gap between instructional computing and the help desk staff than any of us could. He'll be successful at anything he does, but it sure was great to have him work for us. I'd like to give him the award to let him know how much we appreciated him and how much we'll miss him.
