English Conversation Partner Program

An opportunity to learn something new in life....

This volunteer program provides you with the opportunity to make a new American friend. Spend 1-2 hours per week with an American student is very helpful to improve your English conversation skills while exchanging ideas and learning about an American. Come to the ISP office and sign up soon.

Beth Schenderlein is the ISP Community Coordinator.  She is the coordinator of the English Conversation Partner Program.  Her office is in Building 11, Room 214.

• First of all, download the application (Microsoft Word document format) online.
  • For International students:

• Print the document.
• Fill out the form.
• When you're done, please bring it to the ISP office to turn it in.

A time-log is requested to note how often you meet up with your partner, and for how long you do. If a partner has been assigned to you, please download and print the time-log, if you prefer to, online -

When you're done at the end of the term, please bring it to the ISP office to turn it in.

NOTICE

• Your conversation partner will be chosen by ISP. After signing up, you will need to come back to the ISP office to get your papers which will include your partner's information.
