Lane Community College has admitted International students since 1966. Presently about two percent of the student body of over 10,000 students are international students. Lane Community College is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, and provides programs for professional/technical training, transfer to four-year schools, two-year degrees and certificate programs, personal enrichment, and English as a Second Language. The International Student Program (ISP) provides services to students from over 110 countries. Besides academics, the program sponsors activities for students to visit local, regional and statewide places of interest. International students can receive help through English Conversation Partners, registering for classes, housing issues, immigration assistance and much more. ISP staff will do their best to answer any question or refer you to the best resources. Come and hang out in the Multi-Cultural Center. We have a library with computers to check out your e-mail and surf the net, also tea, coffee, hot chocolate and popcorn. We are a Racism and homophobia free zone.
